Sometimes in rescue, there are dogs that for one reason or another, and through no fault of their own, stay within the rescue family as a foster.  Whether it is due to a medical condition such as hospice, or a traumatizing experience from their past, some dogs may be labeled as "not adoptable" by traditional standards. These are the dogs that Mutts Matter Rescue rushes to save from the shelter just in the nick of time. These are the dogs that would have never make it out of the shelter, had it not been for rescue. When Mutts Matter Rescue rescues a dog, we make a commitment to them for life.  Our goal is to be there for the older, sick, and "unadoptable" dogs that have been abandoned at a time in their life when they need comfort, companionship, and care the most.

As a 100% volunteer based rescue, we rely solely on the generosity and support of our community of supporters.
